Good afternoon Friends,
Hope you are enjoying Summer.
We will do stories about food differently today.
Normally I go on and on about the why behind the meal I am making. If you missed the other stories, I made my first enchiladas, tried out a turkey shepherd's pie, got inspired by the snow shutdowns to have chicken flatbread pizza and roasted pumpkin soup, went back into time and made githeri for the first time in 5 years, warmed up my apartment with my banana bread, and the best of them all is the blackberry pie one.

Today I decided to tell the story via 1 minute video (overlay as I make turkey burgers, potato wedges and chilli-mango salad). The story is a dating show on Peacock...I know.

| Made a couple of patties - July 2025 |
I thought I was immune to dating shows, I do not follow the Bachelor, and I think I only watched the first ever episode of Love is Blind to understand what it was all about. For some reason, I was caught by the King's Court net, and I was not going to go through this alone.

If you have not watched the show, I break it down a little in the video. Flow-wise, I prepared my turkey patties from scratch, put some in the freezer for a later date, and left two in the fridge to do their thing as I ran to pick up my flowers.
