Good afternoon Gooners,
Arsenal played their first game of the season against Man United and won 0-1. I watched the game at the Local with the rest of the Red Rose Gooners members (Arsenal Club, Lancaster chapter). Membership this year has been stepped up. Instead of using the normal website, they have updated the process and packaged it in an app that connects our club with six other local chapters - Philadelphia, Reading, West Chester, Drexel Hill.
The app also has a check in feature, which can be used at any of the locations, it lets you know which games are next on line, and the opening time for all the locals that host the clubs. The best part is that the membership fee becomes credits on the app, that can be used to buy Merch from any of the local clubs. Membership also gives you discount ticket rates should you find yourself in London...Lord knows watching a game at the Emirates Stadium is my dream.

We have had a couple of almosts over the last couple of years, and if we keep at it, this will definitely be our season. I know we say that all the time, but this is truly our season.
