At around this time last year, I got honored by BET (Black Entertainment Television) as a Global Good Honoree for the impact of my mental health work.
I had an amazing 4 days in LA...and want to share some behind the scenes highlights.
Fun fact: I am the first East African to be "awarded"/honored by BET.
